Super Cute Baby Shower

There's a baby girl on the way...and her name is Rylee.

I baked up a bunch of sweets for the Baby Shower.

Chocolate Chunk and White Chocolate Chunk Cupcakes

Also made a little cake to match.

Then I topped the cupcakes with handmade Purple Chocolate Butterflies

I decorated my square cupcake tower to match the Showers decor, cute huh?

A VERY SPECIAL Baby Shower!

My dear friend Charlotte is having a baby girl next month and I was so excited to bake her something sweet for her shower.

I did the cupcakes for her son's shower way back when...and my skills have definitley improved since then.

Charlotte requested chocolate cupcakes with strawberries.

She wanted purple and lilac colors with a little bit of pink so I frosted the cupcakes with a pink and purple swirled rose.

Then I made a bunch of these with chocolate and sprinkles to sit on top of the pretty roses.

I also offered to make Cake Pop favors.

Here are the final products...all pretty and on display at the shower:

WARNING: Adult Content!!! Bachelorette Party Favors

My sister from another mister, Rachel got married in March and a week before the event, there was a Bachelorette Party of course!

I wanted to bake some cupcakes but was told that someone else was already bringing some, so I decided to make some chocolate suckers...

Turned out the someone else flaked on the cupcakes which was a bummer but I was really happy with how my suckers came out :) I also made some mini chocolate candies to match.


They are made of chocolate, colored appropriately for all preferences...if you know what I mean.

Wedding Favors

It is safe to say that these Wedding Favors are what sparked my interest in baking. Although my specialty is cupcakes...I bake cookies, candies and cakes as well.

I was Maid of Honor in my friend's wedding in November.
I was asked to make the favors...something edible.
The wedding colors were Pink & Brown and the Bride decided on Chocolate Dipped and Pink Sprinkled Heart Shaped Sugar Cookies :)

So...the two days before the Wedding...on top of rehearsals, nail appointments and dinners, I baked, dipped, sprinkled, packaged and tagged 100 Favors Bags with 2 cookies each.



I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sugar cookie recipe and have used it many many times since. It is a moist cookie that stays soft for several days, perfect for favors and packaging.
